Hello friends, welcome back to my blog. I hope you are all having a good week so far, as for me i am having an amazing week and also recovering from a flu (i don’t know what flu has on me) . Friends i have gone back to my normal way of eating and thats the green life, i mean vegetables, fruits and all that good healthy stuff. I love how light i feel lately and how my skin is glowing. Unhealthy food is so bad for me, and i know this but sometimes i just play myself, well not anymore because i just want to feel light and look good and healthy all the time.
So lately friends i have been having literally the same thing for lunch, breakfast and dinner pretty much every day.
Breakfast 1: Overnight oat smoothie or Green smoothie
Recipe: Overnight Oat Smoothie
- 1cup rolled oat
- 1 stick cinnamon
- Handful of dates
- Pineapple chunks
- Coconut milk
- Coconut Chips
- Mason Jar (to store the mixture)
Method: Put everything into the mason jar (aside the milk). Pour in the milk,cover and refrigerate over night. In the morning, remove cinnamon stick, pour mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy your breakfast.
Breakfast 2: Green SmoothieRecipe:
- Handful of kale or spinach
- 1 cup almond or coconut milk
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 banana or avocado
- 1 teaspoon Chia seeds
Method: Put all ingredient in a blender, blend until smooth. Pour into a jar and enjoy
Breakfast 3: Avocado Toast
- 1 slice wheat bread (toasted)
- 1 teaspoon mashed avocado (seasoned with a little salt, cajun, pepper)
- 1 egg
- Black pepper
- Salt to taste
Method: Poach or fry your egg, spread the mashed avocado on the wheat bread, top with your poached or fried egg. Sprinkle black pepper & salt on egg. Enjoy
Lunch: Greek Salad
