Where To Sleep, Eat & Shop In Abuja City (Part 1): Holiday Edition

Hey guys welcome back to my blog. I am so excited to roll out my first edition in the Holiday series. I went to get red wine at shoprite today and friends the whole of shop rite is in the christmas mood, i mean Christmas decorations everywhere, my heart literally skipped several beats when i walked in.

The holiday season is almost here and i am super excited about this one for so many reasons. I will be rolling out some of my favourite places to be at this holiday. If you are visiting Abuja this holiday, or you are looking for where to sleep, eat, shop or visit then continue reading.

I have been having staycations at several hotels & apartments in Abuja lately and here are some of the hotels i highly recommend for the holiday season.

Nordic Hotel Remember my staycation at Nordic hotel last year, if you can not remember then click this link : http://www.adohrspeaks.com/all-about-my-staycation-at-nordic-hotel-mynordicexperience/  . Nordic Hotel is one of Abuja’s leading boutique hotel and also number one on trip advisor. If you are looking for a chic boutique hotel, Nordic is the place to stay at this holiday.

Nordic VillaAnother boutique hotel that has my heart is Nordic Villa, again read my post on my Nordic Villa Staycation here :http://www.adohrspeaks.com/i-got-the-nordicfeeling-in-my-weekend-getaway-at-nordic-villa/ I am so torn between Nordic Hotel & Nordic Villa, i mean they both have my heart. Nordic Villa feels a lot like a cottage home infused with beautiful interiors, live plants , books and the most beautiful garden. Nordic villa also has an amazing breakfast room that i love so much and have my breakfast at from to time. Looking to get away from the hussle and noise this holiday, Nordic Villa is your place to be.

Ozidu HouseThis is another amazing hotel i love so much, i stayed here for a while this year and i have had some events there also. Read all about my staycation here http://www.adohrspeaks.com/ozidu-house-my-staycation-experience/Ozidu house is also a luxury hotel and apartment with the African vibe all over it. The first time i walked into Ozidu house i was blow away, i thought i walked into an African museum, it is beautiful and stunning, with a lot of African art work & paintings . If you are looking for a place with an African feel, you need to check out Ozidu House.

Looking for a restaurant to visit/ eat this holiday, here are some of the restaurants i highly recommend. I have reviewed a lot of these restaurants, and i am in partnership/ collaboration with some of them.

Tulip BistroTulip Bistro is one of Abuja’s leading restaurant that i can never stop loving to talking about. Tulip Bistro in my own opinion makes the best  nutella french toast, Caesar salad, pasta and baby chicken , guys the baby chicken is the best thing to happen to mankind. Tulip Bistro is a must visit this holiday, infact i think i will take a reader to go have breakfast with me (Giveaway alert).. ding ding ding . Read my post on my Tulip Experience here : http://www.adohrspeaks.com/breakfast-at-tulip-bistro-tea-room/

Nordic Hotel Breakfast RoomAs i said earlier, Nordic villa has the most beautiful breakfast room yet. Its a simple yet sophisticated room. Having breakfast in this place is like having breakfast in a little danish cafe/restaurant . This is a breakfast room to visit this holiday.

Cafe De Vie Cafe de vie is another amazing coffee shop/cafe/ restaurant that i am in love with, i had a christmas party for my blog at this amazing restaurant last year and i had the best time with my friends. http://www.adohrspeaks.com/my-pre-christmas-breakfast-with-girlfriends-at-cafe-de-vie/Cafe de vie is known for their coffee, healthy delicious meals and their earthy, rustic, organic designs. You need to pay a visit to this amazing restaurant this holiday. Follow them on instagram @cafedevie for more details on their new location.

Looking for a place to shop this season, here’s a store i highly recommend.

MangoOne of my favourite place to shop for clothes  in Abuja city is at the Mango store. Mango has 2 outlets in the city, but for some reasons i love the store at the Jabi Lake Mall. Mango is currently on sales so this  is a major opportunity to shop for all your Christmas party outfits. I will be collaborating with Mango soon and putting out a look book for the holiday so stay tuned guys.

I will be revealing more places to sleep, eat and shop through out this month and next, so stay tuned guys.
